  1. I found your article about Switzerland very engaging, When I was a university student in England, I took my first vacation out of England to Switzerland with my younger brother. We stayed at the mountain town of Leysin. Our trip was organized through a student organization, so we resided at a Youth Hostel where many other students stayed too.

Getting up in the morning with vistas of the Alps was a special treat. The cool mountain air on a sunny day imbued a feeling of great expectations for the upcoming day. We had tours arranged to take us to these cities you mentioned. They all had unique characters which made the visits more exciting.

Visiting the base of the Matterhorn gave spectacular views. Lake Geneva exuded serenity. We ended the day in Geneva with a visit to a jazz club for dinner and great jazz music performed by a live combo from the US.

Many may not know that Switzerland has no single national language. The country is divided into three language zones. German, French and Italian. It is no coincidence that Switzerland borders on countries where these languages are spoken.

If you get the chance, I highly recommended visiting Switzerland. Any season of the year is great. As each has its own period charm. Take a lot of pictures. You can’t go wrong in creating masterpieces!

    1. Thank you so much for taking your time for such an insightful review. Really appreciate it.

Switzerland is a piece of heaven as most of the places around our beautiful world. Can hardly wait all this to finish and re-start wandering again.
